You have no how much I enjoyed Zach's daily
visits in the office.  That stinking Beaver
Fan would tease me about being a Duck fan
almost every day.  His loyalty to the Beavers
was unwavering tho, no matter how hard I tried
to get him to switch.  I think we can all
picture his smile when he would say
"Go Beavers!"

Zach Cloud taught the Bend High baseball
teams that he was a part of more about
life than he knew. Every day he came out
to practice or games with a smile on his
face because he truly loved the game of
baseball and the players. The thing that
I appreciate most about Cloud was the fact
that he always kept us humble. He was never
shy about letting us players know when we
had a bad round of BP; I can still hear him
shout “POP-UP!” from the dugout when we
weren’t hitting line drives. There were
countless jokes and laughs when Zach was
around the team. Besides the laughter, I can
say Zach Cloud taught me about perspective in
life and was a constant reminder about how to
live life to the fullest no matter your
situation, and for that I am beyond grateful.
The Bend High baseball family will miss you
Cloud! - Ben Kramer, Bend High Baseball Alum
